OUR MILESTONES
SCPI STARTED ITS TRIAL RUN PRODUCTION ON AUGUST 5, 2017, AFTER THE RELEASE OF ITS LICENSE TO OPERATE. COMMERCIAL OPERATIONS COMMENCED IN THE SUCCEEDING MONTH. IT’S VERY FIRST CONTAINER OF CRAB MEAT PRODUCTS WAS SHIPPED TO THE US ON NOVEMBER 23, 2017. THE PLANT HAS A CAPACITY TO PROCESS AN AVERAGE OF 6.5 TO 7.0 TONS OF RAW MATERIAL DAILY EQUIVALENT TO 8-40-FOOTER VAN EQUIVALENT TO APPROXIMATELY 304,000 LBS. OF FINISHED PRODUCT. THE FOLLOWING ARE THE PRODUCT TYPES (MEAT GRADES) BEING EXPORTED TO THE US: COLOSSAL, JUMBO LUMP, SUPER LUMP, LUMP, BACKFIN, SPECIAL, COCKTAIL CLAW AND CLAW MEAT. SCPI WAS FORMED WITH THE VISION OF PRODUCING PREMIUM QUALITY PASTEURIZED CRABMEAT THAT CAN WELL SATISFY THE VERY HIGH AND DISCRIMINATING STANDARDS OF THE US MARKET. TO ENSURE THIS, THE PLANT OPERATES IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PRINCIPLES AND CONCEPTS OF CODEX HAZARD ANALYSIS AND CRITICAL CONTROL POINT (HACCP) PROGRAM, FAO 210 AND 211; STANDARD SANITATION OPERATING PROCEDURES (SSOP) AND CODEX GOOD MANUFACTURING PRACTICES (GMP). IT IS ALSO REGISTERED WITH THE UNITED STATES FOOD AND DRUG ADMINISTRATION (US-FDA). ITS FDA REGISTRATION NO. IS 10330300946. TODAY, SCPI IS CERTIFIED BRC 8 (BRITISH RETAIL CONSORTIUM) PLANT AND CONTINUOUS TO INTEGRATE THE SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS OF THE STANDARD TO MANAGE ITS FOOD SAFETY AND QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM. SCPI’S FOOD SAFETY AND QUALITY CULTURE SHALL CONTINUE TO THRIVE AND LIVE THROUGH ITS VALUES OF INTEGRITY, LOYALTY, AND TEAMWORK.
